October
In the fall, lose it all, burn this sacred heart
With a Christ-like lost display of sacrifice to impart.
Every cell and mortal thirst are screaming out for trust.
To taste the soft displacing gifts of carnal bleeding lust.
Two crying bodies tangled in a tragic bliss
Disolve into one another with each vapor poison kiss.
In tune with each bruising note that starts the measures’ sound
With a trembling, gasping breath that walks within lovers crashing down.
And so to learn in life's short time, that the shimmering seas inside our eyes
Drift out slowly with whispering undertow, that holds us quietly underneath our stories told.
Will there ever be a word or thought that I could say sweetheart
Without you knowing what was coming next before I even start?
I feel as though I'm made of glass, I'm hollow, torn, and dying
While everything I'd ever need destroys me from inside.
